What is TransPromo?
TransPromo – a phrase coined within the customer communications community to describe the ability to insert promotional or educational messages on transactional documents. TransPromo can be as simple as providing bespoke FAQs to a statement, right through to using demographic and the transactional data to create a unique message for that customer. What is sometime forgotten is that the document’s primary purpose is to inform the customer of their usage, or the performance, of the service provided and to instruct on payment for such services – and the secondary purpose is the influence through adding marketing messages. TransPromo is not a substitute for other elements of your marketing mix – it is a complementary option, particularly to support Direct Mail campaigns.
